What is NCEA?

NCEA stands for the National Coalition of Estheticians Association.

Since 2000, NCEA has worked to define and promote standards of practice while educating both the industry and the public. You can learn more at https://nceacertified.org/

What does COA mean?

COA stands for the NCEA Commission on Accreditation. It was created to facilitate and oversee continuing education requirements for skincare professionals seeking recertification and/or relicensure.

Do NCEA CEs satisfy my state board CE requirements?

Your state regulatory board can provide the most up-to-date information regarding your license renewal requirements.

It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether NCEA COA-approved CEs are recognized by their governing state board.

Do NCEA CEs satisfy my RN CE requirements?

Unfortunately, I do not believe these would satisfy RN CE requirements. However, you would need to confirm that directly with your own governing state board or nursing board.

How can I obtain more information about the NCEA COA?

For more information, you can contact the NCEA Commission on Accreditation at (201) 670-4100 or visit www.nceacertified.org

What do I need to do to receive the CEs?

To receive the CEs, you must complete the course, document your time on the provided attendance sheet, and submit your completed attendance sheet along with the course evaluation form in order to receive your certificate.

Are refunds available if I find out later that my state board does not accept these CEs?

Unfortunately, refunds are not available in this situation. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether this course satisfies their individual CE requirements before purchasing and completing the course.
